A Little About "The Dalaran Inn"

The Dalaran Inn, or TDI as we are affectionally known was created back in May 2009 as a project for Alex Dennison, an avid World of Warcraft player, and his close friend, Andy McCray, a talented web designer and webmaster himself. Alex also writes for the popular WoW database site, Wowhead.

As time went on, TDI has became the largest Australian WoW fan-site and  has managed to score some noteworthy interviews with well known players and teams within the community, most notably, the Ryan "Realz" Masterson (SK-Gaming) interview. We also have ties with Wowhead, whom we have interviewed and talk with regularly.

TDI is dedicated to bringing you the latest for all things WoW. We offer a diverse selection of topics for you, the gamer. A wide range of topics are covered on the site, from world firsts, to arena tips, to new content and stuff that is just a bit of fun.

There are a few members on the team currently, the following is a little bit more about them:

Alex Dennison

I am currently studying at the Australian National University and run this website. I am a technology addict and can't get enough of the web. I thoroughly love writing and enjoy letting my creative juices flow for a wider audience. I have been playing World of Warcraft since release and have had many adventures within Azeroth.

I was born in Canberra and have lived here my entire life. I went to school and am currently studying for my degree here as well. I have always been privy to the ways of the web, and believe that it is the way of the future.

Mary Gruenberg

I am 23, engaged, and recently graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from The University of Southern Mississippi.  My specialty lies in cultures past and present, as well as archaeology.  I'm currently working to attain my teaching certification, and hopefully will end up teaching social studies or English at the high school level.  I have been playing World of Warcraft since six months before the launch of Burning Crusade, and wrote my senior thesis on the social aspects of the game.  I am a native of Mississippi, and have lived here for most of my life.

I enjoy reading, drawing, writing, singing, role-playing games (tabletop and LARP), anime, and listening to music.  I also enjoy video games, movies, and attending conventions when I can.  My favorite authors include H.P. Lovecraft and Laurel K. Hamilton, and my favorite musicians include S. J. Tucker, Mercedes Lackey, Heather Alexander, The Dreamside, Within Temptation, Flogging Molly, and 3 Doors Down.

Stephanie Drury

I’m a 25-year-old English major Alumna from Gonzaga University, and reside in Washington State with my newlywed husband. I enjoy reading, writing, and skiing, among other activities in the great outdoors. I’ve played WoW since post-BC, and before that enjoyed Guild Wars and City of Heroes/Villains. My concentrations in WoW are PvE ranged DPS, the animals in-game, and I like researching NPCs with real world ties. I’m very excited to contribute to the WoW community.
