Low level leveling: on the way out?

timber_wolfFor you who have many characters, and have been playing WoW for a long period of time, I'm sure you are familiar with starting alts and attempting to level them up; and I'm also sure that a few minutes into leveling these new characters, you get bored and switch right back over to your main. Well, you're not alone.

It is no secret that trying to grind your way through the same old content over and over again can become a bit tiresome the more you do it, so that raises the question, is it needed?

It has been suggested for some time now that Blizzard should implement some sort of auto-level feature, adjusted by how many high level characters you already have. It should be based on whether or not you have already done the low level content many times or not.

Some people believe this would give veteran players something to do when not raiding or PvPing, but others believe this is completely unfair and shouldn't even be discussed. Either way, it won't be an easy decision for Blizzard to make.
